Srikhola

Srikhola is a small village located about 87 km from Darjeeling town. It is also called Sririkhola. It is a sleepy village on the trek roue of MAnebhanjan to Sandakphu via Gurdum and Manebhanjan to Sandakphu via Gorkey and Rammam. There is a river at Srikhola by the same name. "Khola" in Nepali means a stream. Srikhola is also a paradise for the wildlife enthusiasts, it is located in the foothills of the Singalila National Park where animals like red panda, Himalayan black bear, Palm civet and barking deer are found. Tourists prefer to walk amidst oaks, Birches and Pines filling their ears with the natural tune of birds to get freshen up.
