By Road

Traveling by road is the most common way to reach Rangrik. There are two main routes: Route 1: From Manali via Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass Manali to Rohtang Pass: Travel from Manali to Rohtang Pass (approx. 51 km). Rohtang Pass is usually open from June to October, depending on weather conditions. Rohtang Pass to Kunzum Pass: Continue from Rohtang Pass to Kunzum Pass (approx. 75 km). Kunzum Pass to Kaza: Travel from Kunzum Pass to Kaza (approx. 75 km). Kaza to Rangrik: Finally, from Kaza, Rangrik is about 10 km away. Route 2: From Shimla via Kinnaur Shimla to Reckong Peo: Travel from Shimla to Reckong Peo (approx. 225 km). This route remains open almost all year round. Reckong Peo to Kaza: Continue from Reckong Peo to Kaza (approx. 200 km). Kaza to Rangrik: From Kaza, Rangrik is about 10 km away. By Bus Himachal Pradesh Transport Corporation (HRTC) runs buses to Kaza from Manali and Shimla. From Kaza, you can hire a taxi or use local transport to reach Rangrik.

By train

The nearest railway station is in Shimla, which is approximately 450 km from Rangrik. From Shimla, you will need to travel by road.
